Birth is bigger than us

I sit here humbled again.  In awe.  We are not our bodies.  The love in the room - it's not our bodies.  The angels.  I feel like I need to be quiet....when a baby is born, when a person passes.  It's God's work - and my job is to hold space...allow...be present..

When we work in birth, we are just as close to death, right?

God's doing his/her/its/their thing - life is doing its thing - and we hold space - witness.
