Farmer-doula-who-also-teaches-birth-classes and felting? I’ve got you!

If you want photos that your loved ones will describe as “Oh wow, these are so YOU!” - then you are in the right place.

We will have up to two hours, so you can ease in and feel comfortable. I know how strange it feels to be photographed sometimes - so don’t worry - I’ll guide you, and we’ve got lots of time!

Your photos will be genuine, real, and sometimes raw. These are the kinds of photos “your people” will relate to - because these photos will be about what makes you beautifully human.

Ballet-dancing-veteranarian? Yes, let’s do that!

Outdoorsy-bouncy-soap-maker who knits? Done!

Why would you let me photograph you?

Your work matters. Your creativity matters. Your business matters. Your work nurtures our community, and I’m so grateful. I get pretty riled up about women in business - especially the women I get to photograph!

I’ve been a professional photographer since 2012; however, I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was five, photographing ducks and geese on Lake Superior. I will use natural light to capture YOUR LIGHT - and this is my heart-work.

I spent over 11 years photographing doulas, midwives, caregivers, and growing families throughout the Ottawa-Gatineau area, including portraits for all the staff at the Ottawa Birth and Wellness Centre - so if you are looking for someone who “gets” how hard you work…I do. (Farmers? You too - let’s do it!)

Ok. Great - but what I need is business portraits.

I’m not the portrait photographer for everyone. I’m for you if you want to be outside (or in natural light inside), and you want someone to capture you as you truly are.

Think less poses, more movement, guided and coached into beautiful light, and then asked to tell me about your work while I photograph you.

If you want photos that the people who know you deeply will say, “That’s so YOU!” - then I’m your portrait photographer.

How does this work?

We can meet on-site at my “outdoor studio” in Val des Monts or at a location in the Ottawa-Gatineau area (I have a list of amazing locations for portraits!). We can even include local coffee shops and capture you in the natural light from the windows.

We will spend up to two hours together - because sometimes it takes a while to warm up and I get that!

You will get a gallery to choose your favourite images from or you can purchase the whole gallery.

1-2 Hours of Photography

You will reserve a weekend or a three-day period in 2026 that will be exclusive to you. We will choose the exact date and time closer to the session to accommodate for weather and health.

Approximately 2 Hours of Photography.

Choose your favourite location within 30 minutes of Wakefield, Quebec, or meet me on-site.

Includes 20 edited digital images with the option to purchase your whole gallery.

Outdoor Portraits start at CAD 400 (onsite in Val des Monts).

Off-site Sessions start at CAD 550.

  • An outdoor brand portrait session is a two-hour photography session focused entirely on you and your work.

    We spend time outdoors in natural light, moving, talking about your business, and capturing who you actually are.

    The result is a gallery of images that feel genuinely like you, for your website, social media, marketing materials, or simply for yourself.

  • Sessions take place at my outdoor studio in Val-des-Monts, or at a location of your choice within 30 minutes of Wakefield, Quebec.

    I have a list of beautiful portrait locations across the Ottawa-Gatineau region and Outaouais, including Wakefield, Chelsea, Cantley, and Gatineau Park.

    Local coffee shops with good natural light are also an option. I love the many neighbourhoods in Ottawa, such as the Glebe, Hintonburg, Britannia Beach, etc. There are so many colourful backgrounds created by the buildings. The options are truly endless!

  • Outdoor portrait sessions start at CAD $400 for on-site sessions in Val-des-Monts.

    Off-site sessions start at CAD $550. Sessions include 20 edited digital images with the option to purchase your full gallery.

  • Yes — and you are not alone. Many of the women I photograph feel similarly before we start.

    Sessions are up to 2 hours, giving you plenty of time to warm up. I will guide you, ask you to tell me about your work, and photograph what happens.

    You don't need to know how to pose. You just need to show up. I’ve got you.

  • Wear something that feels like you and makes you feel good. You are welcome to bring things ilke scarves, hats, extra sweaters etc. too.

    The goal is photos that your clients and community will look at and say, "that is so her," so this is not the day for an outfit you would never normally wear.

    I am happy to chat through options with you before the session if you would like a second opinion.

  • Your session includes 20 edited digital images delivered in an online gallery.

    If you love everything, you can purchase the full gallery. Most clients find they want more than 20 once they see them.

  • Absolutely. I photograph doulas, farmers, vets, yoga teachers, knitters, dancers, outdoor educators, therapists, coaches...

    If your work is meaningful to you and your community, I want to photograph it.

  • Yes.

    If your home, studio, workshop, farm, or workplace is part of your story, it makes a beautiful backdrop.

    Some of the best brand portraits happen in the spaces where people actually do their work.

    As long as we have good natural light, we can make it work.
