Tell me the stories of your farm

The dream, the why, the land, the animals, the reality…

Local food is a huge passion and I’d love to learn and share more about what’s happening in our area - farmers nurture community and I’d love to talk about that!

I’d love to hear about the first time you dreamed of your farm. The transformation, the magic, the things you’ll never forget…

Let’s chat!!

I WOULD LOVE MY FARM TO BE PART OF THIS PROJECT!

Two peach-colored dahlia flowers blooming in a garden setting with green foliage in the background.
Young brown ducks walking through a permaculture food forest in Val des Monts Quebec.
A sunflower with yellow petals and a dark brown center facing left, surrounded by green leaves, in natural outdoor lighting.
White ducks with blue wing feathers standing in a food forest foraging in the long native plants and flowers.

Why would you let me photograph you and your farm?

Your farms make our lives better. Your farm gathers people and feeds our friends and family. Your farm provides employment and gets people outside. Your farm nurtures our community and I’m so grateful. I would love to tell the stories of your farm through photos.

I’ve been a professional photographer since 2012 - however, I’ve had a camera in my hand since I was five photographing ducks and geese on Lake Superiour.

If you know me already - you know me because I’ve been to your farm! My family visits and purchases food from our local farms all the time! We love the events, your Homesteading Festivals, your peonies, the mushroom inoculations, your maple syrup, your bees and all that honey, your eggs, your farmwiches, your sunflower maze, your corn fields, your Christmas Markets - we’re there!

A young boy with red hair climbing a wooden ladder in a sunflower field.
A smiling woman crouching in a garden holding a large white dahlia flower in each hand. The garden is full of various colorful flowers and green foliage, with a house and trees in the background during sunset.
A man and two children dressed in outdoor winter clothing with hats, gloves, and boots on a farm, standing in front of a fenced area with goats and sheep, near a wooden shed surrounded by trees.
People walking through a field of pink and white flowers under a blue sky with clouds, farm buildings in the background.

Ok. Great - but what’s in it for me as a farmer?

I’ll arrive and likely spend a few hours photographing your farm - I may even return at different seasons if you are up for it! (that would be my dream come true!!)

I’d love to photograph you working if possible so we can tell the stories of what goes on behind the scenes.

I love how light and life moves through a farm - I love the transformation that happens for so many people who work in farming and I especially want to celebrate the community you are all creating!

If you’ll have me, I’d love to photograph your farm!

I'm interested!

What’s the benefit for you?

All the photos I take will be yours to keep in digital form which you can use as you wish - for social media, for your website etc. If the vibe is right - maybe we can make a video which you can also have.

I will write a blog post about your farm on my website and likely share the images in drips and drops on social media with some of the stories.

More people will learn about your farm!
